Home Office papers

The Home Office papers are now held at the National Archives in Kew.

They are organised into two series:
HO 40  - statements and evidences taken for the Home Office
and
HO 42 - miscellaneous correspondence to and from the Home Secretary, including reports by magistrates and informers taken on or after 16 August, and informations taken for the trials of the radicals
